Once again, I am heading back to Nepal! I will be documenting my travels and experiences while I am teaching genetics at PAHS from September 7 to 15, 2013. Enjoy! I am supported by Academics Without Borders Canada (AWBC).

Made it to Kathmandu!
Hello everyone! I made it to Kathmandu! I was met at the airport by Katie and Anil! So great and I feel pretty good! I am at PAHS right now and their new building is amazing! It's so nice to see everyone. I am going to walk back with Katie to my place and then they're having a dinner tomorrow to say good-bye to Richard and hello to Katie and I. I better go get some rest but thought I'd check in.

Just read and really enjoyed all of your blogs. So nice to see how sensitive and respectful you are to the culture and religious differences of the people you will be interacting with. Genetics is a fascinating field, thanks for sharing some of your thoughts, some day I'd love to hear some of your views.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you made it safe and sound!! Keep the stories coming...

Just heard from Ram that the apartment is now ours from June through to end of July and then to a doctor visiting at Patan Hospital August to September!
So, try to keep the partying to a minimum while you are there...
